Good Morning GLISC Members and Friends,
Once again, thank you to Aspa Delis from Youth Employment Service for extending our use of the Youth Employment Services Training Room for this Thursday’s GLISC meeting. Steve Paton from Electra-Supply Company will be hosting our meeting and showcasing their business. Remember, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Electra-Supply so that you are armed with this knowledge for potential referrals.
We will also be having a special guest speaker. Vladimir Franjo from the NRC – IRAP program will be joining us. Many of you have expressed interest in learning more about IRAP, and Mr. Franjo has kindly accepted our invitation to address our group.
Also, we would like to make a donation to the Unemployed Help Centre Food Bank this holiday season on behalf of GLISC and its member companies. Please try and make it a priority to bring any non-perishable food items that you may be able to spare to our next three GLISC meetings before we break for the holidays (November 12, November 26 & December 10). Please also let the companies you represent know about this food drive – so that your employees/co-workers can also get involved. This winter is hitting many people in our community especially hard – hopefully, our group can help ease a little bit of this burden, even if just for a few families.
Meeting – 8AM – Youth Employment Services – 547 Victoria Ave., Windsor.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience. Also, please feel free to welcome a guest to our meeting. We look forward to seeing you all there!
